The cancelled slotdoes not stay empty.
Book is the narrowest of the six stages and the fastest to prove. When capacity that has already been paid for opens up at short notice, it gets offered in priority order, one at a time, and the offer closes the instant somebody takes it.

Three ways this stagequietly stops working.
A cancellation at eight in the morning that nobody has time to backfill.
A blast text to forty people for one slot, and four of them turn up.
A waiting list that exists in somebody's head or on a sticky note.
What the system does about it
- The list is ranked by rules you set, not by who replied fastest.
- One offer at a time, with a hold, so the slot cannot be double-booked.
- It stops the moment it is taken, which is the part a blast text cannot do.
- What was offered, taken and declined is recorded, so the list gets better.
Every wait, threshold and branch in that list is a value we set with you during the build, against your stages and your language. None of it is a default we impose.
No number here,on purpose.
Nothing worth quoting. There is no figure worth quoting here. Cancellation and no-show rates are published almost entirely by booking platforms, they vary enormously by trade and by season, and none of the ones we traced carried a sample. Your own cancellation rate for last month is a number you already have, and it is the only one that decides whether this is worth building.
4 book systems,one trade at a time.
Each one is a different trade’s version of this stage, with its whole delivery playbook published: the steps, the branches, the escalation windows and the stop rules. Read the one closest to your business.

6 of the ten trades have no system at this stage, which is a finding rather than a gap. The hub explains why.
Is this the stagecosting you most?
Often it is not. On the call we look at what is actually costing you most right now, which is frequently a different stage from the one that brought you to this page. If there is nothing worth building yet, we will say so.
