What these terms cover

Using automationexperience.net, reading what is on it, and submitting the application at /apply/.

They do not cover any engagement. If we build systems for you, that is governed by a written scope and agreement signed by both of us, which will say what is being built, what it costs, who owns what, and what happens if it does not work. Where that agreement and this page disagree, that agreement wins, every time.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not, the site is free to leave and nothing is stored about you for having read it.

What this site is, and is not

This is a marketing site for a build service. It describes what we do, who it is for, and who it is not for.

It is not a product, there is nothing to license, and there is no account, subscription or trial. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance: the application is a request for a conversation, and either side can decline it.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical, clinical or regulatory advice. Several of the industry pages describe operational problems in regulated trades, and none of that is advice about how to comply with anything.

Claims, figures and what we will not say

This site publishes no case studies, client names, testimonials, ratings or results, because there is no verified, permissioned client evidence to publish yet. The proof section of the homepage is built and deliberately left empty, and says so.

Where a number does appear, it is somebody else's published research, and it is named, dated and given with its sample size and with a statement of what its publisher sells. We do not attach any of those figures to our own work, and we ask that you do not either.

Any figure describing an outcome for a business other than ours is a description of that research, not a prediction about you.

The application

Submitting it does not create an engagement, reserve capacity, or oblige either of us to do anything.

Please only submit information you are entitled to share. Do not put client names, patient information, candidate names, confidential mandate detail or anything covered by somebody else's confidentiality obligations into the form. There is no question on it that requires any of those, and we do not want them.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. We will act on it in good faith, which means a call scoped around a wrong answer is a wasted call for both of us.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at volume, probe or gain unauthorised access to this site or its endpoints. The form endpoint is rate-limited and logged.

Do not submit automated, fraudulent or abusive applications. There is a hidden anti-spam field and submissions that fill it are discarded silently.

Do not use this site to distribute malware, to impersonate anybody, or for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The words, layout, structured data and interface on this site are ours, other than the third-party research that is quoted with attribution and the third-party trademarks named below.

You may quote from this site with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce a page wholesale, present it as your own, or use it to train a model that reproduces it.

Links out

Some pages link to published research on third-party sites so you can check a figure at its source. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or for what happens to them later.

A link is not an endorsement. In at least two cases on this site, we link to research published by a company that sells software into the trade the page is about, and we say so on the page precisely because it matters.

Availability

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or that every page will be free of error.

We correct things when we find them and when they are pointed out. Several corrections are recorded on the pages themselves rather than made silently, which is a deliberate choice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from decisions you make on the strength of it. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

This limitation is about the website. Liability under any engagement is dealt with in the agreement for that engagement, and is not limited by this page.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Automation Experience is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

We may change these terms. The date at the top is the date of the last change, and the current version is always the one on this page.
